Remembering Me Workshop by ParkCity Medical Centre
Designed to provide engaging activities tailored for individuals living with dementia, our program offers a supportive and enjoyable environment where participants can maximize their cognitive potential.
With evidence-based practices and a team of dedicated therapists, we aim to enchance cognitive abilities, foster social connections, and promote fulfilling quality of life. This is adapted from an evidence-based group programme (cognitive stimulation therapy for people with dementia)

(Normal price: RM 1299)Workshop Include:
6 sessions of 3 hours fun activities with various allied health professionals such as physiotherapist, occupational therapist, speech therapist, and clinical psychologist.
Caregiver Support Sessions:
5 caregiver group sessions (1.5 hours each) — 4 sessions led by a clinical psychologist and 1 session led by a geriatric psychiatrist. These sessions provide emotional support, practical strategies, and professional guidance to help caregivers manage stress and enhance their caregiving skills.

Capacity:
Limited to a maximum of 10 participants/session.
Eligible:
Only for participants with mild to moderate dementia and is screened by PMC clinicians

Group Engagement
Promote cognitive stimulation and social interaction through group activities, fostering group support among participants.
Fun and Enjoyable
Participants engage in enjoyable activities like singing, reminiscing, games and art project, fostering joy and cognitive exercise.
Maximizing Potential
Under the guidance of experienced theraphists, participants are empowered to maximize independence and confidence in daily activities
Structured Evidence-Based Approach
Adapted from an evidence based group program. This structured approach aims to engage people with dementia in enjoyable activities, stimulates cognition, language skills, concentration and memory.
Caregiver Empowerment
Providing a safe space for caregivers to share experiences, gain coping strategies, and receive professional guidance from psychologists and psychiatrists. This helps reduce caregiver stress, enhances emotional resilience, and strengthens their capacity to support loved ones with dementia.
