Endoscopy Services
Caring for your digestive health with safe, accurate, minimally invasive care
Our Endoscopy Unit provides procedures that allow doctors to see the digestive tract using a thin, flexible camera. This helps diagnose symptoms, treat problems on the spot (such as removing polyps), and prevent disease—often without major surgery. Our team of gastroenterologists and specially trained endoscopy nurses prioritize safety, comfort, and dignity at every step.
We offer a full range of diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, including:
Gastroscopy (OGDS)
Examines the oesophagus, stomach, and duodenum. Detects ulcers, gastritis, reflux disease, and early stomach cancer.
Colonoscopy
Examines the large intestine and rectum. Detects and removes polyps, investigates bleeding, bowel changes, or unexplained anaemia.
Sigmoidoscopy
Focused view of the lower colon and rectum.
Therapeutic Endoscopy
Polyp removal, biopsy, and control of gastrointestinal bleeding.

-
The procedure usually takes:
- OGDS (Gastroscopy): about 20–30 minutes

How to Prepare for Colonoscopy (Bowel Preparation)
A clean colon is essential for accurate results.
One Day Before the Procedure

Bowel Prep Guide:
- Take the bowel solution as prescribed by your doctor.
- Good prep = clear/yellowish liquid stools.

Important Reminders
- Purging usually starts within 1–2 hours of drinking the solution.
- Finish all prescribed doses to ensure your bowel is fully cleaned.
- Stop all clear fluids at least 2 hours before your procedure (if sedation is planned).
