  • Clinically approved by the FDA
  • Proven effective for patients with solid tumors such as breast, ovarian, colorectal, bowel, and prostate cancers
  • Used by over 100,000 patients in 35 countries

Benefits of Scalp Cooling
  • Helps patients retain more of their hair during treatment
  • Reduces the emotional and psychological impact of hair loss
  • Allows patients to maintain a sense of normalcy and dignity

What to Expect with Scalp Cooling
  • A cooling cap is worn before, during, and after chemotherapy infusion.
  • Cooling narrows scalp blood vessels, reducing the amount of chemotherapy drug reaching hair follicles.
  • The process adds around 60–90 minutes to each chemotherapy session.
  • Some patients feel a cold sensation or mild headache initially, but this usually improves.
  • Effectiveness varies depending on chemotherapy type and individual response.
